Plaza Mayor Medellin, Conventions and Exhibitions was born in March of 2006, a product of the fusion of the Exhibition Palace and the International Convention Center. Its main purpose was to offer the city an integral space which would contribute to its national and international projection by making Medellin and ideal destination for events and conventions tourism.

Plaza Mayor Medellin, is an Organization of a mixed nature having as majority shareholders, the Municipality of Medellin, the Chamber of Commerce, the State’s Government and the National Coffee Growers Federation.
